Brightlife funds projects that test and learn from approaches to reducing loneliness and isolation for people aged 50 and over in Cheshire West and Chester.
We welcome tenders from small, informal groups as well as established third sector organisations and ensure that funds are accessible to everyone.
There are two routes to applying for funds from Brightlife:
1: Key Commissions
Brightlife identifies key areas, people and issues that we would like to reach within Cheshire West and Chester. We then design specifications for services or activities by working with older people and current providers. Groups and organisations can respond to our specifications by completing a tender response form. Find out more about our current Key Commissions specifications.
2: Bright Ideas
We know that there are lots of people in our communities with great ideas about how to reduce social isolation and loneliness for people aged over 50. Bright Ideas is an opportunity to turn these ideas into reality. Groups and organisations can apply for any amount between £5,000 and £20,000. You can find out more about Bright Ideas here.
Any group or organisation that wishes to apply for funding from Brightlife can get support throughout the process from Chester Voluntary Action (CVA). Please contact Joanne Stanton on 01244 401272 or by email at email@example.com.
You can also visit CVA’s website at www.chesterva.org.uk.
If you have any questions about either of our commissioning routes, please contact Mandy Roberts Contracts and Commissioning Manager on 01606 884444 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
