Bright Ideas Funding

Funding applications have now closed for Bright Ideas projects

Brightlife have now commissioned 35 Bright Ideas projects with a total value in excess of £600,000. These Bright Ideas have come from local community groups and voluntary organisations who have told us what provision is needed in our area. These projects will work with more than 1000 over 50s to test ways of reducing social isolation and loneliness. Projects will be for 1 – 2 years in duration and have each been awarded between £5000 and £20,000 by our Brightlife panel of older people (Older People’s Alliance).

A big thank you to everyone who has applied for funding over the last 3 years. We’re looking forward to seeing all our Bright Ideas make a difference to the lives of older people across Cheshire West and Chester.
